When Evan Auto Brokerage was founded, our goal was to provide our customers with an alternative to high-pressure sales tactics used by the auto sales industry. In doing so, we also created our Evans Auto Family. People who care about our customers and long-term relationships. While we would love to sell many cars every day, we understand that it is in our best interest to help our customers in every way possible, even if that means not completing a sale.
Leo Ferreiro - General Manager, Vice President
Leo, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, moved to the Ventura County area in 2002. Loving husband and father of three kids, Luca, Mia and Camila. He loves sports and spent as much time as possible with his family and friends when he is not at work, of course. Like many Argentinians, absolutely loves soccer and a good “asado” (Argentinian barbeque) You should put him to the test!!
Leo has been in the car business since May of 2002. Starting as a Sales Consultant for the Ladin Family in the Thousand Oaks Auto Mall with the Lincoln / Mercury franchise for about 5 years. In 2007 he moved to the Rusnak Group starting his journey with the Audi franchise as an Audi Brand Specialist for about 2 1/2 years. He took a little break for about 4 months to help his wife Edith with the arrival of there first Baby girl Mia.
In the beginning of 2010 Leo joined the sales force of The Auto Gallery Audi in Woodland Hills, California. At this dealership Leo was able to start learning new tasks and roles in the car business. The first challenge that Leo got offered was to manage the Lease retention portfolio and never looked back after that. Due to a very successful campaign to promote and keep loyal customer with to the brand and the dealership, Leo got offered to start working as a backup Finance Manager. In a matter of one month Leo started working full time as a Finance Manager while still working his Lease Retention portfolio. A little short after that The Auto Gallery Audi opened the doors of there fully renewed facility on Ventura Blvd and Leo got the opportunity to face new challenges.
The new role offered to him was to become the Used Car Assistant to start learning the ins and outs of the used cars operation. He was being tailored by his General Manager to become the next Used Car Manager. He gave up his Lease Retention portfolio to be able to focus on his new task while still working as a Finance Manager. For about one year Leo kept his hands full and as you can imagine, working long hours but, it was worth it since he was able to learn a lot in a short period of time. The next challenge came up after the Used Car Manager for the store got promoted to General Sales Manager and Leo became the new Used Car Manager for the Audi store leaving behind his Finance Manager position. For the next 2 years Leo managed the Used Cars operation from the trade appraisal, merchandise selection, recondition process to market strategy, advertising, sales marketplace and Certified Pre-Owned program.
Working hand to hand with many talented people he always enjoyed being on the sales floor helping his co-workers to make the next sale. Leo has a very easy approach to the car business, like many of his clients keep saying, “we like to deal with Leo because he is always straightforward and honest and I don’t ever feel any pressure or misleading when I deal with him, you too should give Leo a chance, you will not regret it”.
